Flight Life is more than just a name or a motto, it’s a mindset. It’s a desire for freedom. The desire and drive to be who you want in life and to rise above the people who will try and tell you, you can’t.

Anthony Harris, also known by his stage name Mu$e is a Hip-Hop/R&B artist and producer from Atlanta, GA. Originally from Queens, New York, Mu$e brings a very different vibe to the underground hip-hop scene in Atlanta, causing his fan base to be just as diverse as his sound. Drawing inspiration from the likes of renowned artists and groups such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Coldplay, A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, Nas, Jay-Z and many others, Mu$e has developed a sound that will capture the likes of any fan of the past and current hip-hop scene globally. “Flight Life”, which has become his branding and motto originates from his background in aviation, as he began to travel the world at a very young age and even logging an impressive number of flight hours while training to become a pilot. “Flight Life is more than just a name or a motto, it’s a mindset. It’s a desire for freedom. The desire and drive to be who you want in life and to rise above the people who will try and tell you, you can’t.”

From the age of six, Mu$e has taken an interest in music starting with a foundation in piano and later percussion, which he claims gave him the knowledge he now deems necessary to start producing. It wasn’t until Mu$e was in his late teens that he gained an interest in rapping. “I had been making beats for a few years before I even thought to write my own music. I just thought if I start rapping on my own beats, it could be the perfect way to help market myself as a producer.” A few years later he released his freshman project, Now Boarding: The Mixtape which he states was a success even though it never reached the level of commercial success he hoped. “Now Boarding was a success simply because of the effort that went into making it happen, it served its purpose. I mixed the project myself and at the time didn't know much about mixing. Even through the low fidelity, people recognized the potential and still enjoyed the music. It was a learning experience.”

Since then Mu$e has been performing local acts around Atlanta, continuing to broaden the reach of his music. His second project entitled, The Rooftop Effect, is now available for digital download on DatPiff and streaming on SoundCloud. “The Rooftop Effect is a culmination of great beats, greater concepts and insane lyrics. It’s the story of my journey since the last installment. I’ve always made the type of music people could vibe with or just chill to. Now we’ve just taken that to the next level.”
